Megaman

Mega Man, known as in Japan, is a video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is the first game in the original Mega Man series and the entire Mega Man franchise. It was released in Japan on December 17, 1987, and was localized for North America in December 1987 and for Europe in May 1990.
The plot begins the everlasting struggle between the heroic, humanoid robot Mega Man and the evil scientist Dr. Wily. The game establishes many of the gameplay conventions that would define the original Mega Man series as well as its multiple subseries. A standard action-platform game, Mega Man features a somewhat non-linear setup whereby the player can choose the order to complete its six initial stages. With each "Robot Master" boss defeated at the end of a level, a unique weapon is added to the player's arsenal to be used against enemies. Mega Man was developed by a small team of people, which included significant involvement from artist Keiji Inafune. The game was produced specifically for the home console market, a first for Capcom, who had previously focused on arcade titles.
Mega Man was critically well-received for its overall design and has been noted for its high difficulty. Although it was not a commercial success, the game was followed by an abundance of sequels and spin-offs that are still being released to this day, many of which utilize the same graphical, storyline, and gameplay setups instituted by the 1987 game. Mega Man has since been included in game compilations and has been re-released on mobile phones and console emulation services. An enhanced remake for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was released in 2006 with the title Mega Man Powered Up, or in Japan.

Play Free Megaman Games Online

Mega Man is a video game character who has become one of the main characters for Capcom. Nicknamed Rockman, he is one of the most recognized icons in the video game industry.
The original game was a hit! Capcom went on to create Mega Man 1 - 8 and you can play all eight games on the anniversary collection for Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox. Megaman games have also been created for newer sytems like the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS.

Hints When Playing Escape Games

Some escape the room games require significant amounts of pixel hunting. being that most escape the room games are Japanese, causing poor hints and otherwise easily solved puzzles to be both confusing and grammatically incorrect.
escape the room games usually have common cliches and here are some of them :
-a safe usually holds valuable clues
-drawers of desks or dressers or such should be individually searched.
-books on book shelves must be searched for clues.
-mirrors, paints, and any flat surfaces usually have clues on its hidden sides.
-players refer to the the screw driver as SD in their discussions.
-search under the corners of rugs and such for clues or trap doors.
-search under the beds pillows or covers for something that might help.
-cracks between any furniture and walls usually contains keys or clues.
-cushions and pillows could be slashed with a knife to reveal other hidden clues.

Game Concepts

When you play the game you use the mouse cursor to click on objects & they will be kept in you inventory so you can use them to interact with another objects.
once you hover over an item that can be collected or interacted with your mouse cursor will change shape how ever not all escape games work like that.
some escape games doesn't provide hints so once you collect an item in your inventory you should try to use it in various objects that could help you to get out of the room escape games usually contain puzzles that needs to be resolved in order to get out, different puzzle types are used such as jigsaw puzzle, number or color puzzle and sometimes even all those types combined.
in some games you will have to get out of several rooms before you reach the end.

Flash Workarounds for the iPhone

Yet Another Way to Watch Movies

I have gone movie crazy! Hehe. So this one is pretty much more straightforward that the one above. This one also works with O Player. Both Lite and Paid Versions available from the App Store. You'll wan't the paid version to remove ads (which don't really get in the way). O Player supports a variety of formats...so any movie available online should be able to play. If you have ever heard of iPhone Moviez or whatever, their new link is http://mediamp4.com/ (only viewable on a smartphone NOT on your computer)

Step 1: Get O Player.

Step 2: Open up O Player's Webbrowser.

Step 3: Go to http://mediamp4.com

Step 4: Click on a link and watch a movie with no limitations in terms of viewing.

Your iPhone and Flash.

Steve Jobs and Adobe have had a long history together. Steve Jobs has currently firmly denied Adobe any hopes to put flash on the iPhone or iPod touch or the iPad. Jobs believes that html5 is the future, and flash is too buggy for usage on the iOS. But this is definitely not an answer for most of Apple's community. When phones like the Blackberry support flash, why not the iOS? Anyway, many users have found workarounds to get Flash and even Java working on heir devices and this lens demonstrates most of them.

Frash

Currently most popular

SB Settings with Frash ToggleWhile all of the tools used to enable flash on your iDevice are buggy, Frash has to be the one which works best. Frash was originally coded for the iPad but works for the iPhone and iPod touch as well. You will need to jailbreak your device first, however. (Want to enable Flash without Jailbreaking? Read on). Open up Cydia,

But first, Crash Course in lightning fast Jailbreaking, if you want Cydia Now:

> Go to www.jailbreakme.com (by Comex) on your iDevice.

> Slide your finger across the jailbreak button.

> Wait till Cydia installs.

Now open up Cydia. Go to Manage > Sources > Tap Edit > Now tap Add.

Enter the following source URL: http://repo.benm.at

Now install Frash. Since Frash can take up a lot of battery (it is a Safari Plugin btw) you might need a toggle. So go ahead and download the SB settings toggle from the same source. SB settings are Spring Board settings and are enabled when you slide your finger across the top of the screen. To enable SB settings, go to Search on Cydia and type SB settings and download the one from Big Boss (a developer).

Now whip up Safari and enjoy Flash video. Want to watch movies? Go to www.moviewatch.in and try Putlocker links on your favorite movies, Putlocker links usually work best with Frash (or so my Friend says). Most YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and even Hulu content is now available to you.

Note

To those who think that they can play flash games on Miniclip with these tools, they are strongly mistaken. These tools are still in testing stages and the furthest one can get to is the loading screen of a Miniclip in Frash. Only Runescape is possible (and with Java) and that I will talk about later.

Skyfire Web Browser

No Jailbreaking...but not Free either.

Skyfire Web BrowserSkyfire has been much hyped over before it's release. It's a web browser you can download from the App Store with an Adobe Flash Plugin. Still, you must be reminded that it only supports some Flash video and that too from You Tube and Dailymotion etc. Forget movie watching from the site I mentioned earlier when I talked about Frash (www.moviewatch.in) since it plainly does not work on it. (not even videos coded in .mp4 or .flv). And once again I should repeat...no Miniclip. No Addicting Games. No CrazyMonkey games. No Nitrome. Sorry.

There is an iPad version and a small version for the iPhone/iPod touch.
iOS Flash Video

Javascript Bookmarklets

Javascript bookmarklets are a beautiful thing. They offer great functionality, are free and do not require a Jailbreak. iOS Flash Video is one such Javascript Bookmarklet that you can add as a Safari Plugin which can convert videos from

>Vimeo

>Dailymotion

>Megavideo (with O Player from the App Store)

>Youtube

>Hulu

and much more into native flash content which can play on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. To get this precious piece of javascript, go to http://iosflashvideo.fw.hu/

To install the bookmarklet,

>Go to the website

>Press the "+" button on your Safari Toolbar.

>Name your Bookmarklet (or keep it iOS Flash Video by Default)

>Now go to your Bookmarks bar and press Edit.

>Open up the iOS Flash Video Bookmarklet (or whatever you named it) and edit the bookmarklet so that everything before "javascript" is deleted.

Now whenever you find a video on a website from the above mentioned providers, just open up your bookmarks bar and click iOS Flash Video (or whatever you named it) and enjoy your video!

Play Free Facebook Games on an iPad

Using iSwifter to play Facebook Games on an iPad

iSWiFTER is an app you can get for the iPad to play Flash content including Facebook games. It streams flash content to your device from a cloud, so the Flash is running on the cloud and not on your iPad. It's the best workaround I've found so far for playing Flash games on an iPad. Currently, it only works over wi-fi but they have plans for future 3G support.

You can install iSwifter for free, but it's not really a free app. When I first tried iSwifter, it was free to install but it would let you play for 5 minutes and then cut you off. Now it seems they have a 7 day trial. Also, when I purchased iSwifter there was a one time upgrade fee of $2.99. iSwifter has changed to a subscription model where you'll have to pay $2.99 a month to continue using it. I feel lucky I purchased it when I did since I won't have to pay the monthly fee since it switched to the subscription model after I purchased it.

A few of the games I tested using iSwifter that it seemed to work okay with are: Cityville, Gardens of Time, Monopoly Millionaires, Farkle, and Pet Society (although running a race in Pet Society is a little laggy and sometimes it's slow to use the arrow to go to another part of a room). Unfortunately, iSwifter does not work well for playing my favorite Facebook game, Zuma Blitz, on the iPad. The frog would shoot balls in the wrong direction and I also couldn't figure out how to right click to swap to a different colored ball. To effectively play Zuma Blitz on an iPad, I will just have to wait until Popcap makes a Zuma Blitz app for the iPad like they did with Bejeweled Blitz. I have no idea if or when that will happen though. I think that most Facebook games will probably work using iSwifter on the iPad, unless they are fast paced games like Zuma Blitz.

iSwifter does have a few annoyances--it doesn't seem to use cookies so if you use it to play Facebook games, you'll have to login to Facebook each time you open the app (even if you check the box for it to remember you.). It also doesn't remember where you were when you close the app. I was playing a Facebook game and accidently pressed the button on my iPad and the app closed, then when I reopened iSwifter, I had to log in to Facebook again.

You can Bookmark Facebook apps using iSwifter, but I like to go to Facebook first using a secure connection and log in, then I go to the bookmark for the game I want to play.

How to Play Facebook Games on an iPad - Workaround for not having Flash installed on iPad.

Are you wondering how to play Facebook games on an iPad? I sure was. When I got an iPad, I tried playing some of my favorite Facebook games, but they didn't work because they were flash games and iPads don't have a Flash Player installed. Besides the Facebook games that have their own apps, there are a couple workarounds for playing Facebook / Flash games on the iPad, and they of course don't involve Flash running directly on the iPad.

Facebook Game Apps for iPad

The best way to play a Facebook game on an iPad is with an app designed for that game. Some apps for games on Facebook are iPhone apps that you can still play on your iPad. I usually click the 2X button to make them fill up more of the screen even though the graphics don't look their best when doing that. Unfortunately, there are only a few Facebook games that have their own iPad app.

HD Facebook Game Apps for iPad:

FarmVille by Zynga - I hadn't played Farmville in some time, but started playing a little on the iPad because I thought it was awesome they made a Facebook app. The Farmville app for the iPad is free, and I hope that other Facebook game developers will follow suit!

SCRABBLE for iPad - the Scrabble game for the iPad lets you play Scrabble games with your Facebook friends but it costs money ($9.99 last time I checked. I have also seen it on sale for $4.99.) If you want to play Scrabble for free on the iPad against your Facebook friends, then you can install SCRABBLE Free that's made for the iPhone. It won't look as good but at least it's free!

Chess.com - the free chess.com app integrates with Facebook and Chess.com so you can play chess against your Facebook friends. I think I need to watch some of their chess videos first before I'm ready to play.

Non-HD Facebook Game Apps for iPad:

Bejeweled 2 + Blitz - I originally purchased this game for my iPod Touch so I could play Bejeweled Blitz on it and have it connect to Facebook. Now I play it on my iPad (at 2X size) and it's still fun! I think I may be getting better scores playing Bejeweled Blitz on my iPad, but maybe it's just that I have more experience playing it now.

Zynga Poker - This is a free app that you can connect with Facebook to play Zynga Poker on your iOS device. You can have it alert you when your Facebook friends sign on to play.

Using a Remote Desktop App to Play Facebook Games on an iPad

One other workaround that will let you play Facebook games on an iPad is using a remote desktop app. This way, you are remote controlling your desktop computer with your iPad, and the Flash is running on the computer not the iPad.

These are the Remote Desktop Apps I've tried so far: (only one so far--if I try other Remote Desktop apps, I'll update this.)

Splashtop Remote Desktop for iPad - This was easy to get up and running by installing a client on my PC, then my iPad found my computer on the local network and I was able to connect to it after putting in my password. I haven't tried connecting to it outside of the home, or using 3G yet.

I was able to play some Facebook games using Splashtop Remote Desktop, but it wasn't as smooth of an experience as using iSwifter. It could be because my computer is a few years old. I liked that with Gardens of Time (Hidden object game) I was able to zoom in by using two fingers to expand or pinch, as you can't zoom in using iSwifter.

Before buying the full version, try Splashtop Remote Desktop for iPad Free.
